jelantah

seriously, i really thot this is one of javanese vocab (yeap, i'm a genuine Javanese!)
but then, when i heard MIL also used the same word my perception changed.. it's a global word :)

Jelantah = nasi yg masak tak sempurna a.k.a MENTAH!

tak semena2 petang ni, while rushing prepare dinner nasiku turned to JELANTAH (akibat masak nasi 2.5 pot tapi guna rice cooker kecik.. malas pulak nk amik yg besar (boleh?)

so what i did, quickly remove rice pot from cooker then placed it to dapoq gas

it turned good.. peroi2 gitu! sedap dimakan bersama sup daging + smbal pedal ayam + sayur campo
