i always wanted to make my cake looks simple tapi 'mahal'. mahal not in terms of price tapi bila tgk mcm.. wah!


frankly speaking, until now impian belum terlaksana. masa plan nk buat tu, semua bende terbayang-bayang kat kepala, tapi in reality, ideas jadi entah ke mana-mana...


so, for the year 2010 ini aku punya cita-cita utk mewujudkan 'kemahalan' rupa tu. i know, this is not an easy thing. berimaginasi dan reality adalah dua perkara yang sgt berlawanan meskipun punya kaitan. mungkin fondant adalah jawapannya????? or less colour?


2010, i got so many chances untuk menerbitkan 'kemahalan rupa' tersebut. big event on coming feb & middle of march. then april & insyallah June nanti boleh dijadikan medan berjuang.


okla, mari layan kek yang konon2 nak nampak mahal tapi belum success pun!

ok, seriously. merah itu menawan!
btw, kenapa tiba-tiba minat merah/maroon?, jawapan = 2010 kan tahun melaram. Jadi kene sgtla dgn tema merah/maroon. lagipun, nampak merah semangat diri jadi membara-bara. Tahun ni kan tahun membakar semangat. (pss.. boleh pakai ke alasan tu?.. haha. owh pakar beg iaitu, fynnaz kata 'Red Is Yummy!')


sebenarnya, sejak minggu lepas misi pencarian beg merah bermula. sebenarnya, pembelian ini adalah pembelian hadiah b'day. hubby tak kuasa nak belikan si isteri yg cerewet ni. maka diberinya duit, pepandaila beli apa nak. hehe. lantaran itu, 2-3 hari tour mall di melaka , tapi tak jumpa pulak yg berkenan dihati. Lagi satu, aku pun bukan pakar sangat dalam perihal memilih handbag. kriteria yang diperlukan: ROOMY SPACE : (utk ku sumbat segala jenis khazanah malaya!)



namun, pelawaan bos utk satu sidang mesyuarat di TTDI jumaat ini amatlah dialu-alukan. sambil menyelam minum air (ye tak?)


gigih juga ku roger few store sejak 2 menjak . tepat pulak masa, few store masih buat sale up to 30% sehingga minggu depan. Kebetulan yang memberangsangkan! tgklah mana yg berkenan dan suit well dgn budget. oh, walaupun 2010 tahun melaram tapi aku masih berpijak dibumi yg nyata. hanya membeli item yg affordable sahaja. almaklumla, tak dpt pulak duit terpijak mahupun duit yg jatuh dari kayangan :p.. (duit hasil jualan kek tak boleh usik bak kata hubby sbb nk jadikan ibu duit. pss: lagipun aku dh invest pembelian gol* yg makan beriban jugak.. anak mami la katakan :p)


marilah kawan-kawan, kita menjamu mata.. lazat-lazat juga juadah kali ni. cium-cium 40 kali, mana tahu terlekat nanti (it's rhyme!)

stay vs stop

STAY

1.mencintai husbandku.. walaupun aa**n dtg mengurat. kah kah kah.. (cik abg, i love u so mucch!)

2.BAKING. aku bersyukur sbb TUHAN tunjukkan jalan! hopefully 2010 ni boleh upgrade skill esp bab2 fondant/deco pulak..

3.using vitamin E facial range from BS . i'm loving it!

4.consuming Qaseh Adinda. so far dh 2 bottle consumed dan aku sungguh happy dgn khasiatnya

5.current weight. tak boleh lebih 50kg. i used digital weighing scale EVERYDAY! so kalau naik 0.1 pun dh boleh alert (is this sound like psycho??? haha)

6.calm & focus...

7. memakai Ariani.. she give me different looks & i'm loving it. tak payah nk pi laser/surgery
rampingkan pipi.. wakakaka.

8. chiffon collector. another self satisfaction item.

9. being myself!


STOP

1. paying car debt loan.. yeay, tahun ni abis byr (insyaallah tak tukar kete kot.. sygg ooo kelisa ni, sesuai utk rempitan. hopefully dpt tambah pulak tahun ni)

2. tukar2 produk. tak elok la utk kesihatan muka

3. being emotional/moody kalau ngntuk. burukkk sgtt. yeah i know. sian hubby!

4. waking up late. azam tahun baru nk clock in punctual 8am. so takde la kontroversi2 nnti :p

5. melayan org2 psiko.. tak elok utk kesihatan jiwa & raga

6. merungut & belajar bersyukur.

7. malas lipat kain!

why i love carrot cake? seriously, before ni tak pernah terpk nak makan apatah lagi nk membeli. but looking at market price, terlintas jugak kat fikiran kenapala kek ni selalu jual mahal2. apa yg bestnya??

but then, when i found my new obsession, selain coklat cake (oh, i'm one of chocolate monster!), this is the cake yg aku teringin nk buat. so bila dh buat.. i realized, bukan taste dia sebab utama. tapi satisfaction yang tak boleh diungkap dgn kata-kata..


MAKA, misteri merungkai/menjelajah/mencari keistimewaan resepi carrot cake akan disambung pada 2010 bagi mengenalpasti THE BEST CARROT CAKE EVER.

i remember few years ago, end of year mesti belanja sakan. paling wajib handbag (btw, setaun sekali je tukar) & perfume (new year mesti bau baruu). rasa tak sah kalau tak beli 2-2 bende ni...ok, duit takde problem at that time cos paling sengkek 2-3 bulan bonus.


tapi taun ni different. maybe bonus dh dpt time raya so mmg fully utilised. then, sudah byk komitment lain...


UTK Y.E.S kali ni, i just spent dua bende:


1) ARIANI .. yes, i'm officially ariani's member. finally, dh jumpa tools menguruskan muka. yap, tudung ariani.. i already bought 7 so far (ada org tu berbelas2!). time sale je berani beli sbb kalau tak sale harga dia melambung!


2) brg cakes.. never ending story la bab ni. so far aim utk wilton nozzle & cupcake stand. baking tray pun kene tambah lagi. so far ada 3 loyang . tapi selalunya kene tunggu sejuk. so jenuh ulak nk cuci2 pastu bake balik. maybe kene add up dlm 2-3 lagi. hubby ada belikan small size utk sample. byk lagi dlm kepala actually, slowly la kan..

ps: dulu asyik bosan je takde hobby. hobby lama basuh kete tapi smpai org pelik panas2 terik pun nk basuh kete.. so bile dpt hobby kewanitaan ni rasa HIDUP KEMBALI BERMAKNA.. alhamdulillah

real cupcakes - first attempt

second time actually.. first masa engagement ila. tp time tu aku tak consider as cupcakes coz resepi dia utk muffin..


bile masa terjebak kat cupcakes? frankly speaking aku tak bape risau pasal based cake sbb dh lama practise, this time around i choose moist chocolate cake yg menjadi kesukaan ramai. so, bile one of my colleague ask me to bake cupcakes for her 14th wedding anniversary, terkejut jugak.. tapi i grab this opportunity and treat it as challenge. cuma kali ni aku taknak pakai buttercream sbb penah terkena buttercream ni cepat cair if over beat. jenuh nk masukkan dlm peti ais bile siap decorate. seriously, mmg sedar basic frosting still weak. waktu first baking class dulu cikgu tak ajar sgt how to make ideal frosting. ok takpela.. mission 2010 adalah belajar betul2 pasal frosting since basic cake insyaallah dh kire bolehhla..


ok, back to main story. aku kan rajin ulang alik khin hin (cake supplier). then, sorg staff situ ada borak2 kat aku pasal krimwell. dia kata krimwell ni bagus as subsititute butter and sgt recommended to those yg nk buat theme putih. kalau pakai butter mmg akan jadi kuning even kalau letak color pun jadi slack sbb based dh kuning. kire tak pure la color nnti. even tak confident aku try jugak sbb kalau tak try mana nk tau jadi ke tak...


seriously minggu ni mmg hari2 baking sbb ada yg request, tak kisahla tido jejak 1230++ hari2. so, i consider repeat order from same people as a good sign! alhamdulillah, dh ada yg noticed :)
