First Week Ramadan 1433 H

 Hi readers, how's your ramadan so far? saya di sini mcm biasa. sahur adalah pemalas, most of the time minum air masak and kalau rajin makan la sebiji dua kurma. kdg2 kalau pemalas sgt mmg tak bgn tp since hubby dh sediakan air tepi katil, so kitorg minum la seteguk dua sebelum sambung tdo. Hubby mmg tak boleh bgn sahur (nnti pening sepanjang hari), makanya tutup la dapur pepagi. Cuma kalau berbuka tu mmg all out. Tp kali ni nasi mmg larat makan separuh je, tp lauk penuh laaa.. haha


Talking about cakes, saya masih lagi membaking during puasa2 ni. Cabarannya mmg ada, bukan cabaran terliur tp cabaran nk merasa. Ok meh kite tgk feedback customer


1) Kek coklat : alhamdulillah +++ve feedback. rasanya dlu awal2 pun ada jugak dpt feedback yg tak ok. then dari situ improve step by step. ni kek paling lama bertapak kt YBTC so mmg dh rasa byk kali, insyaallah this is the best i can give so far :)





 

2) Red velvet : Penah jugak dpt feedback kek ni tak gebu. I think mmg kek ni ada berat sikit since pakai vege oil. If nk gebu mmg kene pakai butter, tp tula berderai jadinya. So yes, red velvet di YBTC mmg ada berat sikit texture :)




3) Chocolate Indulgence : +++ve feedback. I've tasted many times. Cuma kali ni customer challenge me to bake in heart shape. Adunan sama dgn round cake normal tu. Cuma sbb dia bentuk love so ada tricky sikit nk melayer. Overall customer loves it including yours truly :)




 4) Red velvet : pls refer #2 ;)




5) Rainbow cake : Ok, this is a real challenge. Kali ni, rainbow cake saya di order oleh sahabat baikku si peminat tegar butter cake. I trust her taste , she told me my rainbow cake tak fluffy + over sweet. Agak migrain memakannya. Ouch, reality bites me babe. Tp i really appreciate her feedback. kalau dia tak ckp bebetul smpai bila pun i tak improve kan? i think dh dekat 20-25 biji cake bake for rainbow ni, so lepas discuss dgn rakan (baker) juga & buat few study, I will revamp my prev recipe and come out with new method. See, bukan senang tau jadi baker haha. Tp kalau kite dok berangan & terawang dgn pujian manis smpai bila pun takde improvement. I'll stick to method "butter cake" yg dh bertaun ku pegang iaitu gula+butter --> egg rather than campur semua baru beat. Yup, kelas rainbow tu dia suruh campur semua dlu tu yg mengakibatkan kek agak rapat since udara tak masuk. so far method xx which is (gula+butter --> egg)ni mmg tak mengecewakan which i applied kat my chocolate cake (customer loves it) .. Kite bake n makan for buka puasa la dulu ye ff before mama buat new version for tempahan raya. TQ babe, sila redeem cake anakmu umur setahun nnti ;)
